When you use TradeSpeed or sign up for an account, we collect and process the following categories of information:
- Account & Contact Details: Your name, trade business name, business email address, trade specialty, and existing mobile phone number.
- Telephony & Call Logs: Inbound caller phone numbers, timestamps, call duration, forwarding destination, and call completion status for incoming calls routed via your dedicated TradeSpeed smart line.
- SMS Communications: Automated missed-call text messages, customer response content, and review invitation messages necessary to operate the service.
- Billing Information: Payment card details and transaction records are processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full credit or debit card numbers on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process personal data only when we have a valid lawful basis under UK data protection legislation, including:
- Performance of Contract: To provision your dedicated UK virtual number, forward incoming calls, send automated SMS replies to missed calls, and deliver customer review invitations.
- Account Administration: To authenticate your logins, send verification emails, process subscription billing, and provide technical support.
- Security & Fraud Prevention: To safeguard our infrastructure against spam, illegal robo-dialing, and malicious usage.

We retain your account data and call logs for as long as your TradeSpeed account remains active. When an account is terminated, data is permanently erased within 30 days, except where statutory retention obligations apply (such as UK accounting and tax records). All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption.
5. Your UK GDPR Rights
Under UK data protection laws, you possess the following rights regarding your personal data:
- The right to access and receive a copy of your personal data.
- The right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal records.
- The right to request erasure (“right to be forgotten”) of your data.
