Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 August 2026 • Version 2.0 • Effective immediately
1. Free Trial, Subscription Charges & Billing Cycle
1.1 7-Day Free Trial: Your 7-day free trial begins immediately at the moment your account is created and a dedicated UK virtual telephone number is allocated. A valid credit or debit card is required upfront via Stripe to activate the trial, but £0 is charged on signup. If you cancel at any time during the 7-day trial period, your card will not be charged.
1.2 Subscription Billing: Following the conclusion of your 7-day free trial (on Day 8), your payment card will be automatically charged the subscription fee of £19.99 per month (inclusive of standard UK virtual line rental, incoming call forwarding, automated missed-call SMS text-backs, AI lead triage, and dashboard access). Subscriptions renew automatically every 30 days unless cancelled before the renewal date.
1.3 Payment Processing: All payments, billing details, and VAT receipts are securely processed by Stripe Payments UK, Ltd. under PCI-DSS Level 1 certification.
2. Self-Service Cancellation & No Contracts
2.1 Instant Self-Service Cancellation: TradeSpeed operates on a month-to-month basis with no long-term lock-in contracts. You may cancel your subscription at any time with a single click inside your TradeSpeed dashboard under Settings > Subscription & Billing or via the Stripe Customer Portal.
2.2 Service Continuation Until Period End: If you cancel during a paid billing cycle, your service and dedicated virtual number will remain fully active and functional until the end of your current paid 30-day period. No further renewals will be billed.
3. Virtual Telephone Numbers, Retention & Portability
3.1 Exclusive Line Usage: The dedicated UK (+44) virtual telephone number assigned to your account is provisioned exclusively for your business throughout the duration of your active trial and paid subscription.
3.2 14-Day Post-Cancellation Quarantine (Grace Hold): Upon expiration or termination of your account, your virtual number is held in a secure 14-day quarantine grace period. During this 14-day window, the number is not reassigned to any other user, allowing you to reactivate your subscription if desired. After 14 days of non-payment or termination, the number is permanently released back to the UK telecommunications pool and cannot be recovered.
3.3 Number Portability (Port-Out Policy): Number porting may be requested where supported by the assigned number type, the underlying communications provider and the receiving provider. Eligibility, process and timescale will be confirmed on request. Please contact support@tradespeeduk.com for porting assistance.
4. Failed Payments & Grace Period
If a recurring subscription payment fails, Stripe will automatically re-attempt the charge over a 3-day grace period while automated email notifications are sent to the account owner. If payment is not settled after 3 days, automated SMS text-back dispatch will be temporarily paused while call forwarding continues for a limited period before service suspension.
5. Fair Usage Telephony & SMS Policy
TradeSpeed plans are designed for legitimate, day-to-day trade businesses handling genuine inbound customer enquiries, emergency callouts, quotes, and job communications. All standard trade volumes are fully covered. Accounts exhibiting abnormal automated dialer patterns or exceeding 5,000 automated SMS/minute logs in a single month may be subject to review under our fair usage policy.
6. Prohibition of Bulk Marketing, Cold Scraping & Spam
Strict Zero-Tolerance Anti-Spam Policy:
TradeSpeed must NEVER be used for cold-calling campaigns, unsolicited bulk SMS broadcasting, bought lead list spamming, phishing, or predatory marketing. Any account found using TradeSpeed infrastructure for spam or unlawful telemarketing will be terminated immediately with zero notice, zero refund, and reported to relevant UK telecommunication authorities.
7. Important Emergency Services Disclaimer (999 / 112)
TradeSpeed is a commercial call forwarding and SMS automation service and is NOT a replacement for a standard PSTN mobile or fixed landline telephone service.
TradeSpeed does NOT support emergency calling to 999 or 112. In any life-threatening or property-threatening emergency, you and your customers must place emergency calls directly through your standard mobile handset or landline provider.
8. Service Availability & Service Level Agreement (SLA)
We target a 99.9% platform availability uptime. However, because call routing and SMS delivery rely on public telecommunications networks (including BT Openreach, Vodafone, EE, O2, Three) and internet service providers, TradeSpeed cannot guarantee that telephony networks will be 100% uninterrupted or error-free during third-party mobile carrier outages.
9. AI Lead Extraction & Natural Language Limitations
TradeSpeed utilizes natural language processing and artificial intelligence to extract customer job issues, urgency levels, and postcodes from inbound SMS replies. While our AI models are tuned for UK trade terminology, AI extractions are probabilistic. Traders remain solely responsible for confirming job specifications, access details, pricing, and customer postcodes directly before attending any premises.
10. Data Retention, Storage & Account Deletion
Call metadata and SMS lead transcripts are encrypted in transit and stored securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy. When you delete your account, all personal call history, lead logs, and customer transcripts are permanently erased from our primary database within 30 days, retaining only statutory accounting receipts as mandated by UK HMRC regulations.
11. Refund Policy
Because TradeSpeed provides an unrestricted 7-day free trial (£0 upfront) allowing full live testing on incoming calls prior to any billing, monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once billed for an active 30-day period.
In the event of a documented technical billing duplicate or verified billing error, please contact our support team at support@tradespeeduk.com within 7 days of the charge date for prompt review and adjustment.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by English law, DREAM DELEGATE LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, loss of business revenue, lost profits, or missed customer bookings resulting from telecommunications network outages, device incompatibility, or carrier SMS delivery delays. In all circumstances, DREAM DELEGATE LTD's total aggregate liability arising under or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees actually paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms, their subject matter, and their formation are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You and DREAM DELEGATE LTD irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
